IT may be largely a 'throwaway' world in which we live these days, but not at Cotech Fabrications at Coxside.
From gate railings to boat rudders, a discarded old bell, trolleys and mud guards, to workbenches and split fuel tanks on motorbikes, the firm takes on all kinds of metal work for that one-of-a-kind feel.
Generations of families have been coming to it since the 1990s, while owner, Paul, aged 60 has been working with metal for decades. You name it, he has made or fixed it and after 27 years, he still loves every second of it even if the world is changing. But while many people now purchase cheaper and often poor quality substitutes online, doing them up to the standard keeps his business going.
