FROM HITS TO HEALTH: HOW LIZZO LOST 60 POUNDS

Slowing down on producing new music, she has embraced some serious lifestyle changes and placed her health as top priority. She asserts that choosing change to prioritize health is an act of self-love, just like celebrating one's self at any shape or size.

The "Truth Hurts" singer employed three key habits: She maintains a caloric deficit, follows a high-protein diet, and regularly does strength training. Lizzo has never admitted to the online speculation that she used GLP-1 medications like Ozempic. She credits her transformation to hard work and discipline.

In a recent Instagram post, she lip-synced "it's like a reward" referring to how people are tying her amazing weight loss to Ozempic. In fact, her personal trainer, Corey Calliet, said in an interview that Lizzo never wanted to use medication and other shortcuts. She really wanted to work hard and earn the body she wanted.

One of the biggest changes for Lizzo is her shift from a vegan lifestyle to a high-protein, animal-based diet. In a video titled "What I eat in a day as a former vegan," she explained how this change gave her more energy, improved her mental clarity, and helped her shed pounds.

Her meals now focus on lean proteins and low-carbohydrate meals such as egg white cups with cauliflower hash browns and fresh fruit; buffalo chicken lettuce wraps; and grilled chicken with asparagus and carrots.
