A MUM who reported a perverted hotel manager to police for sucking her toes ended up in cuffs herself - while he went on to rape.
Ahmed Fahmy used his job to prey on women for 16 years.
In March 2022 Helen Ingham, 48, called police to report hed attacked her - but was locked in a cell overnight when she became angry that her accusations were not taken seriously.
Fahmy went on to rape a woman and sexually assault another in January 2024. It was only when those crimes came to light that police re-interviewed Helen and her testimony helped nail the serial offender.
Helen, who has waived her right to anonymity, is glad to see Fahmy, 45, brought to justice but remains furious her complaint was originally dismissed, leaving him free to rape.
