TWO people at the centre of the funeral parlour probe were arrested when they landed at an airport after a trip away, police said yesterday.

FUNERAL HOME SUSPECTS WERE HELD AT HEATHROW

A man of 46 and a woman aged 23 were met by officers when they touched down at London's Heathrow on March 9.

Three days earlier police had launched their probe into the Legacy Independent Funeral Directors after receiving a report about "concern for care of the deceased".

Officers have since removed the bodies of 35 people from one of the company's premises in Hull.
