ENGLAND'S World Cup flops have been challenged to show they can still produce a performance to be proud of even when their shot at glory has gone.

And who better to try and lift the gloom against than tournament hosts India at a 50,000-seater stadium that will be packed to the rafters.

It should have been a clash of the titans today with two teams vying for semi-final supremacy.

Instead only favourites India will be moving on to the last four at the business end of this tournament.
