Scandal-hit Mone shuts down firms

THE Tory Peer and underwear entrepreneur at the centre of a PPE scandal is closing down most of what's left of her business empire.

Michelle Mone who is being investigated over an alleged multi-million-pound fraud - has been a director of 12 companies, including bra firm MJM International, which launched the Ultimo lingerie range.

The baroness, 52, now has three companies, but is planning to dissolve two.

She is getting rid of MMI Global and Michelle Mone Interiors which have links to the controversial Knox Group, run by her husband Doug Barrowman, 58.
