SINKING...WAS IT MANSLAUGHTER?

ITALIAN police are to investigate whether the victims of the superyacht sinking were unlawfully killed.

Seven people died, including tech tycoon Mike Lynch, 59, and his 18-year-old daughter Hannah, when the luxury vessel Bayesian sank off Sicily.

Chief prosecutor Ambrogio Cartosio said officials were looking at potential crimes of "shipwreck and manslaughter".

Officials also revealed yesterday that of the six trapped as the yacht sank to 160ft (50m), five had been found in one cabin.
