Cleanse right, hydrate, take post-salon care: Tips to keep your skin healthy during the festive season

Curating an effective skincare routine is essential to ensure your post-Navratri skin is still glowing and free of issues. If you’re the one who loves to flaunt a head-turning look, check out these expert-approved tips to get your skin fresh and ready!

‘SET UP A FIXED SKINCARE ROUTINE’

If you don’t already have a fixed routine for your face, you might want to get started during the ongoing festivities. Although it is not necessary to follow a 10-step routine and overuse products, experts say a few crucial elements are the key to good, healthy skin. “Do not follow generic routines you find on the internet. First, understand your skin type and requirements. The basic three steps one can follow is – cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise. Prep your skin through these steps before going to the grounds and continue doing it throughout the festive season,” shares Ritu Pujara, beauty and skincare expert.

THREE-STEP ROUTINE FOR SKINCARE

CLEANSE: Use a face-wash based on your skin type, or face cleansers. If you have makeup on, first use Micellar water to get rid of impurities. You can also use toners to soothe your skin and maintain its pH balance
