How Fatherhood transforms a man!

While I was sleeping in peace at my home, my sister, our parents, and my brother-in-law had spent the whole night keeping a check on the mother and the baby.

When I got to the hospital, I saw a 1 didn't expect. My brother-in-law, a 6ft 4in tall, well-built man; was wiping the tears from his eyes as he had just heard the news about his newborn daughter.

Previously, I had only seen him as a man who worked hard, who did his work amazingly well, and who did what he could to take care of his family. But at that moment, I saw an emotional side of him that had been hidden from me for a long time.

Fatherhood has the ability to turn physical mountains of people into warm and nurturing valleys. I didn't think that my brother-in-law was an emotionless rock earlier, but being the father to a newborn brought out that vulnerability and care in him that little else could. Fatherhood changes men in ways that little else can.

Since that moment on March 8, my brother-in-law has been warmer, more caring, and more delicate in his approach to kids and the people around him than at any time in the past.
