Principles of Kashyapa Hora Nadi:
1. Take the Hora Lord and see in which sign and direction he is placed. If other planets are in the same sign or directional signs, then consider them as well for the Hora chart reading.
2. If there are more than one planet in any particular sign or same directional signs, then put them in their ascending of their degree, minutes, and then read the Hora Chart. Also, check the degrees of the planets. Did they just move to this sign or about to move to the next sign? This must be taken into consideration prior to give predictions.
3. Once we get the Hora Lord, then see for any planets that are placed in 2nd, 7th and 11th signs from the Hora Lord and take their causative effects and then consider them for the Hora chart reading.
4. After making a note regarding the Hora Lord in which the native has arrived for consultation, then 2nd, 5th and 7th signs to Hora Lord should be considered and decided whether they are friendly or have inimical planets in it.
5. The nature of Hora Lord and the nature of sign in which Hora Lord is stationed are very important for delineation.
6. If there are planets in 3rd and 11th to the Hora Lord, the nature of those planets must be considered.
7. See at the time of consultation whether the Hora Lord is under combustion or rising (Astha or Udaya). This Udaya and Astha should be considered not only for the Hora Lord but also for other planets too.
