When you're in a fairway bunker, what a lot of golfers do is bury their feet in the sand for stability. If you bury your feet and stay in your same posture, you have basically lowered your body down and the bottom of your swing is going to be behind the ball. Hence, the key to this golf shot is getting measured to the ball correctly.
