Stuck in the interlude of a teen comedy, two seconds before poor decisions are made, are my friends and I—sitting on the digital stoop that is our group Discord chat—saying once again, “What do you wanna play today?” The answer this month, catalyst for ten thousand “No! Come ON”s was Fall Guys.
Now that Mediatonic’s memeable stumble chums are free-to-play, we went back to test the waters of the game we’d mainlined for about two months after its original launch. After several seasons of new maps, Fall Guys was way less tiring than when we first sunk dozens of hours into it.
