Riiiiiiise from your grave. And hit things with a shovel

GRAVELORD

As an xennial, the phrase 'boomer shooter' is becoming almost offensive. This is not the kind of game my mom would have liked. It's the kind of game I like. With guns, graves and godlike speed on offer, it's likely to be the kind of game you like too.

The speed at which your character moves is remarkable, as if he's on ice skates and has been given a great big push across some sort of low-friction surface. Later in the game spring-heeled boots are promised, which will increase his speed even further. I was playing it in 4K on an RTX4080 Super with vsync well and truly switched on, and the absolute smoothness of the game was a joy. It's a Unity production with some lower-poly, '90s style character models and environments—though they're the sort of thing we imagined our games looked like in the '90s rather than what actually appeared on the screen—and it moves at a fantastic pace. The low minimum specs point to it potentially working well on the Steam Deck.
