■ The Watch Pro 2’s case is milled from aluminium alloy, in your choice of dark or light grey. Each has a matt finish that does a great job of hiding smudges and fingerprint muck, while the quality of the materials used feels on a par with watches that cost twice as much.

■ The AMOLED screen looks even sharper and more defined than the original Watch Pro’s square one – and that was already punching above its price. It’s bright and responsive to touch, if not the quickest to adapt to changes in lighting, with a raise-to-wake mode that works well if you want to save the battery.
