We, humans are running towards success, power, high standards, we have made our lives too busy with our daily activities, we experience stress by waiting in traffic, meeting, reaching on time, discord with boss, problem with spouse, tension of children, rounds to the hospitals for elders etc etc. In such a busy schedule we also need time with ourselves, to relax. The best way to relax is to go to forest and enjoy nature. The beauty of forest naturally rejuvenates us, we inhale fresh air, listen to the birds, take a walk, or watch the wind animate the branches of the steadfast neighboring trees. This practice is growing popularity around the world as it is connecting us with our natural home, the forest.

FOREST THERAPY

It is well known that the human species originated in nature, and evolved to thrive in the natural world. Since we live constantly outside of the natural environment, it makes sense that spending time in nature gives us a sense of peace and relaxation.

The most important aspect of Shinrin-yoku is actively engaging each of your five senses, and consciously connecting with what's happening in the forest around you. Forest therapy relies on trained guides, who set a deliberately slow pace and invite people to experience the pleasures of nature through all of their senses. It encourages people to be present in the body, enjoying the sensation of being alive and deriving profound benefits from the relationship between ourselves and the rest of the natural world.
