Wedding Tourism: A Boundless Possibility
ROMANCE IN THE AIR

The concept of Wedding tourism though a rather recent trend in the world of travel and tourism has its inception a long time back. More often than not the Royals and Aristocrats in society have organised mega events on the occasion of family weddings at exotic locations with hundreds of invitee gathering to celebrate and cherish the moments. Travel lovers and adventure seekers have also known for making their special day historic by choosing a picturesque landscape and ambience to say 'I plight thee my troth'.

Looking at the growing popularity and demand of people preferring to travel to their favourite destinations and locations on their special day, the Hospitality industry, event management companies and tourism have joined hands to customise, create, and excel in this new vertical of 'tourism' called Wedding tourism, also known as destination tourism or marriage tourism, wherein the bride and groom travel to a serene destination, along with guests to exchange vows. This brand-new industry has grown steadily and has already carved out a space for itself in the global tourism market. Today, there are many meanings for wedding tourism. In actuality, it is a huge scheme to go to a location other than the bride and groom's hometowns in order to get married.

Along with the end users, international organisations, governments, and ecosystem participants also profit greatly from this arrangement. The sector has become steadily stronger on a global scale and has generated considerable profits for itself.

The majority of the states in India have ample room to grow this type of specialised tourism. The industry experts are all in agreement that India has not yet reached half of its potential in comparison to the possibilities and scope in our country.

National Parks Of India

India is blessed with a rich tapestry of biodiversity that is both a natural heritage and a national treasure. The concept of national parks in the country traces back to the late 19th century when the importance of conserving wildlife began to take root in the consciousness of the colonial administration. The first national park in India, Hailey National Park (now known as Rajaji National Park), was established in 1936, marking a historic commitment to wildlife conservation. The post-independence era saw an exponential increase in protected areas, primarily driven by a need to conserve India’s unique flora and fauna threatened by rampant industrialization and urbanization.
