Bound by the Caspian Sea on one side and the Caucasus Mountains on the other, Azerbaijan is a confluence of many cultures and home to diverse geographies- making it an ideal honeymoon destination for those who seek something truly unique for their travel with their beloved. From the stunning beaches to highlands, from an Iranian and Turkish influence to German towns that once thrived here, there is so much to experience and savour that gives you an opportunity to enjoy the best of everything as you make your way through different parts of Azerbaijan.
BAKU
Baku is the capital of Azerbaijan and is home to some of the most picturesque World Heritage sites and architecture. There is a lot of history and culture to explore in Baku, making it a perfect destination for those who are patrons of art, architecture and culture. You can explore the city's museums and take a walking tour of the city centre to soak in the vibrance of the place! The National Museum of art is the home of Azerbaijani classical fine arts, and also houses masterpieces from Türkiye, Iran, Japan, China, Russia and Western Europe.
And the museum's dual buildings themselves are historic monuments dating back to the 19th century. Named after Rustam Mustafayev, an early 20th-century pioneer of theatre decoration, the museum collection chronicles items dating from the 4th millennium
BC to the present day. Over 17,000 artworks can be savoured from painted ceramics, copper and bronze engraved wares to ancient carpets, and jewellery. There's also works of Azerbaijani miniature painters of the 15th 16th centuries, as well as paintings and sculptures by contemporary artists.
