A VERY 'TWEET' GESTURE
"When I decided to move from Michigan to Florida after I retired, I was excited to downsize my house and take on the upkeep for a small condo. As the landlord, Marjorie, gave me a tour, explaining all the amenities and perks that they offered, I couldn't help but feel a bit guilty. 'My 15-year-old cat, Isabelle, isn't going to adjust very well,' I admitted. 'She's old and her only enjoyment back in Michigan was sitting on the windowsill staring out at the birds in the trees.' I gazed at my view of a bare courtyard.
"Move-in day finally came, and when Isabelle and I arrived, I noticed a small package with a ribbon on the kitchen counter sporting a tag that said, Welcome home, Isabelle! When I opened it, I melted inside seeing a relaxation DVD that featured birds in their natural habitat. Needless to say, Isabelle loves it and watches it every day, plus we both have a new friend since Marjorie is a hopeless cat lover!"
