Throughout Australia, government budget commitments have allocated significant funds to rail upgrading or expansion. Female rail leaders have shared advice and experiences through a national summit in Sydney, and members and guests of the Railway Technical Society of Australasia have celebrated a successful biennial conference and associated exhibition on rail engineering, CORE, in Sydney.
