Danube Properties began operations as recently as 2014. Still, it has scaled at an enviable rate to become a behemoth developer meeting the specific requirement of affordable housing in Dubai.
The raw numbers tell a story of their own. In 2018, Danube Properties sold over 1860 units for almost Dhs1 billion, recording a staggering 78.5 per cent year-on-year growth in residential property sales.
Five years after it started operations, Danube Properties has 14 projects in various stages of completion, with six already delivered. The projects include 5433 residential properties and 20 retail spaces, with an expected total sales value of Dhs3.82 bn.
While the real estate market is evolving to balance the delicate, often volatile, relationship between demand and supply, Danube is pushing forward. “We have three projects totalling around Dhs1 bn worth of inventory that we are delivering this year. We have already delivered a twintower project, Starz, while another project called Resortz, which has a neo-classical design, will be delivered in Q3 this year. Even the last project that we launched, Elz by Danube, is 90 per cent sold out,” says Atif Rahman, Director and Partner at Danube Properties.
Wavez is the latest launch by Danube to take place this year. Located in Liwan, the development is easily accessed both from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Al Ain Road.
