Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2016

December 4th 2016 marked the 25th year that the Yokohama Hot Rod Custom show has been wowing people from Japan and around the world.

With 300 cars, 650 motorcycle’s, 310 vendor stalls, 50 pinstripe artists and 250 media representatives from Japan and around the world all under the one roof it was never going to be just another show. Every thing from early customs, traditional hot rots and classic Japanese cars to pan head choppers and state of the art motorcycles, this show has the lot.

I attended my first show back in 2011 and even back then 14,000 people walked through the doors of the one day show. Jump ahead 5 years and the crowds are by no means getting smaller with around 16,000 attending the show including 900 foreigners, but in true Japanese style the crowd were orderly and the show ran like a well oiled machine.
