Corteco India Private Limited, part of Corteco Global, the sales organisation of the Freudenberg Group specialising in parts for the independent automotive aftermarket, expects significant growth in India.
The company that was established in 2012, aims to bring the brand’s global capabilities and products to the local market through a local supply chain focused on market-oriented needs. Corteco is a global organisation in 16 locations with around 600 people. It was formed in 1996, headquartered in Milan, Ohio, USA. Each of the locations is responsible for the local and global sales. The company’s skill is in sales and distribution and not production. Its partners produce and Corteco sells.
Corteco deals with products such as sealing that includes oil seals, engine gaskets, etc which come from the Freudenberg parent company. It has vibration controls such as engine mounts, driveshaft, central bearing, supports, and filtration products. “We have the cabin air filter, a product that is also manufactured in India for the Indian market. Corteco is just a route to the market bringing all the different products from the group together; we have the customer base,” Martin Jones, CEO, Corteco India, said.
