With the death of Castro bringing Cuba into the world spotlight, David Reed travelled out there for CPM to look at a special piece of plant
It is obvious that there are a lot of infrastructure projects on the go in Cuba, with the relevant plant equipment in operation. Although opportunities to photograph were rare, a few pieces of equipment were recorded, including a Volvo wheeled front loader, a Chinese built Tian Gong PY180G motor grader and a Terex crane working in Havana.
However, one piece of plant that stood out a mile and can be said to have influenced the political history of Cuba, was spotted in Santa Clara.
