From traction control and electronic brake distribution to something as simple as anti-lock braking systems, cars have — for the most part — become idiot-proof. Which is why it can be easy to forget that all of the above interact with the road through the tyres alone. Rubber is the sole point of contact and it still relies on the core principles of physics. Which brings us to the new Michelin Energy XM2+ tyres and what they mean for the Indian consumer.
