If you could buy a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 “R-code” Super Cobra Jet for $25, you’d trip over yourself racing to be the first one there—that’s a fact for any of us. However, the reality is that the only thing with the Mustang logo on it that you’re going to get for 25 bucks these days is a nice T-shirt. But what if you could be in the running for such a car with a tax-deductible donation starting at just $3? Yep, we’d be grabbing our wallets and heading for the Mustang Dream Giveaway website too!
The folks at Dream Giveaway have been helping individuals through several key charities for over a decade, donating millions of dollars through sweepstakes promotions that have traditionally been popular muscle cars such as Corvettes, Mustangs, and more. These fundraising promotions are sponsored by New Beginnings Children’s Homes, which is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and they help many other charities, including MADD, Honor Flight, the National Guard Educational Foundation, Smile Network International, and others. So, whether you provide a donation for a single $3 ticket or that pack of 20 tickets for $25 (or 7,200 tickets for $5,000!), you can feel good that your donations are going to help people in need, even if you don’t take home one of Dream Giveaway’s awesome sweepstakes promotional vehicles.
This year’s Mustang Dream Giveaway is being split into two separate sweepstakes promotions—a classic Mustang and a yet to be announced late-model Mustang (our bets are on a 2020 Ford Shelby GT500 of some sort). This is a first for any of Dream Giveaway’s promotions, but don’t worry, both Mustang sweepstakes still include a cash award to cover the taxes when the IRS comes knocking on your door if you win. In the case of the 1969 Mustang Mach 1 you see here, it is a cool $10,000.
