FOREVER WITH YOU We went on a date after connecting on a dating app. The first impression I had of Matthew was that he has kind eyes, a nice smile and great manners. We started out slowly, but once we had fallen for each other, everything just fell into place. Picturing a forever with him was both exciting and comforting.

UNDER CHRISTMAS LIGHTS Last December, Matthew popped the question when we were in Perth, Australia. After a casual dinner in Leederville, under a tree decorated with Christmas lights, he got down on one knee. He was so nervous that he called me by my middle name and almost dropped the ring. It was very sweet and heartfelt, and we were both teary-eyed afterwards.

DESTINATION WEDDING We both have family and friends living in the US, so we decided to hold our wedding there. I wanted to marry in a church that had sentimental value, so when Matthew told me that his parents and grandparents had tied the knot in Saint Agnes Cathedral in his birthplace – Springfield, Missouri – that sealed the deal.
