It all started from a candid engagement planning discussion over a call during the high voltage India-Pakistan match in Manchester, three weeks before the event which turned out be a spectacular four day celebration in Lake Como, Italy. Abhinav from USA & Anjena from Italy decided to exchange rings in an eclectic mix of serene, delightfully romantic, luxurious and beautiful Villa Pizzo by the Lake Como.

Nestled between the magnificent mountains and the charismatic lake, Hotel Mandarin hosted the esteemed guests. The pre-engagement functions and parties were celebrated in this opulent picturesque location where Bollywood celebrities, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had their wedding celebrations.

Right from the memorable luxurious boat ride to Bellagio for lunch, popularly known as the Pearl of Lake Como to the city tours in this culturally rich heritage destination, this event was planned to make not only the social celebration but also the overall holiday for the guests momentous and unique. The engagement was celebrated at the 600 year old exotic Villa Pizzo. On July 7 in the evening, the couple entered the villa in their private Riva boat as they were given a very warm welcome by their families and artists’ performances. Exotic and pleasing floral profusions transformed the majestic villa into a breathtaking venue.

#AbhiAnji as they are known on the social media platforms eventually became a favourite spot for the photo-op. At the elegantly decorated arch, the couple cut an impressive white three-tier cake that was decorated with beautiful blooms. They turned their friendship into an adorable relationship of a lifetime by exchanging the rings.

Beautiful roses, tulips, peony, lisianthus, orchids and roses as the centrepieces gave a surreal and magnificent look to the seven course sit-down dinner. The fireworks during the event indeed brought about the sparks of a momentous celebration.
