Mr PRS Oberoi was felicitated with PIHMAA’s ‘Legend of the Industry Award’ at PACE 2018. He used the occasion to speak about how Indian hospitality group can meet the challenges presented by global brands.
His passion for work and lifelong pursuit of excellence is the stuff legendary stories are made of. No wonder Pusa Institute Hotel Management Alumni Association (PIHMAA) chose hotel baron Mr. PRS Oberoi for the ‘Legend of the Industry Award’ for his role in developing Oberoi Hotels and Resorts as a leader in global luxury hospitality, and for setting international benchmarks and enhancing India as a travel destination for global travellers.
The award was presented by KB Kachru, Chairman, and Mandeep S. Lamba, President, PIHMAA, at PACE 2018, the institute’s annual conclave and exchange. Held at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi, the event saw participation of over 250 alumni, including the likes of Puneet Chhatwal, celebrated chef Sanjeev Kapoor, Carlson’s KB Kachru, EazyDiner chief Kapil Chopra, Marriott’s Rajiv Menon, and Chalet Hotel's CEO Sanjay Sethi, among others.
