Pau Abelló Pellicer, MD of Roca Bathrooms Products tells Vinita Bhatia how urbanization has led to a rising demand for premium bath products.
How is Roca growing its market share in India, especially in the hospitality domain?
Hotels have always been our key customers for premium and luxury bathroom products and prefer eco-friendly and digitally automated products. To grow in this category, our approach is focused towards introducing new technology and innovative designs. Roca Bathroom Products has six brands in India – Armani-Roca, Laufen, Roca, Johnsson Suisse, Parryware and Johnson Pedder. Within each we offer a wide collection of products to different segments (economical, premium and luxury) and buyers; and an exclusive range to cater to the hospitality market. Urbanization has led to a rising demand for premium bath products. Innovation rules the market and automated sensor enabled fittings are chosen over the traditional ones by tech-savvy customers.
