Italy's GIOIA invites you to enjoy the beautiful view outside its window of the sloping hills facing the Gulf of Naples. The name of GIOIA's third collection of writing instruments, “Bellavista,” translates to “beautiful view," and this collection of three fountain pens certainly is beautiful. Each of the three swirled acrylics is matched to a gold- or rhodium-plated clip, cap ring with repeating GIOIA “A” logo, and barrel ring at the piston-filling fountain pen's end, along with an ink-view window toward the section. Acqua Azzura features an aquamarine resin matched to rhodium-plated appointments (middle), while gold-plated appointments are featured on the pearl-gray/black/gold body of the Pompei (left) and the swirled deep blue with bronze body of the Crepuscolo (right). Each GIOIA Bellavista comes with a key for disassembling and easy cleaning of the piston-filling mechanism. The fountain pens come with a JoWo No. 6 stainless steel nib in widths of extra-fine, fine, medium, broad, 1.1 mm stub, or 1.5 mm stub.
