Event planning is one of the biggest informal industries in our country, with each year bearing witness to thousands of corporate and private events that have steadily grown in scale and budget over the years. While there are outfits that provide a more professional and customised experience, it is still a relatively small number in a sea of independent vendors and suppliers that are often hard to navigate through for inexperienced operators.This is the space where a new market player, Aameego, is hoping to make a difference, by utilising the power of analytics-based logistics and skilled corporate communication.We got to chat with the company’s founder and CEO, Abhishek Sharma and pick his brain about his approach to handling the chaos.

How did the idea for Aameego come around? How did you go from working in traditional logistics operations to building an event management company?
