Football legend David Beckham has been showing off his other skills (being sexy and funny, duh) ever since he retired from the sport. Here’s a look at his best moments which don’t involve any ball kicking.
What: Playing the fool with Deadpool
In the new Deadpool 2 promo, Becks shared the screen with Ryan Reynold’s foul-mouthed anti-hero, who tried to apologise to David for an insult dished in the first movie — “Ever heard Dave Beckham speak? It’s like he mouth sexed a can of helium.” Ouch. David finally forgave the character after being presented with a pair of World Cup tix, but he also shot back, insulting Ryan’s films like the infamously bad Green Lantern. But all is cool: the real Ryan thanked David for lending his funny chops (and star power) on Insta, saying “This legend is truly one of the greats. Thank you @davidbeckham for coming out to play.” When a successful superhero franchise wants you for its marketing, you know you’re awesome AF.
