DESTROYER NIC'S DANGEROUS BIG-SCREEN DRAMA

Nicole Kidman’s used to a make-under – hello that nose in The Hours, anyone?! And the star has once again deglammed for her role as dangerous detective Erin Bell in the gritty thriller Destroyer.

“This character is so far removed from me, so that’s part of the appeal as an actor – going to places I haven’t been given the chance to go,” says the Aussie star of the dark role, for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama. “I’m all about finding characters and stories that [make me] go, ‘This is new, but it’s still emotionally relevant.’”

Here, Nicole opens up about why it was her “toughest” role to date, the effort it took to look the part, and the upcoming second season of Big Little Lies. Squeal!
