After it emerged that Liam Payne has reportedly given up booze to prioritise being a dad to son Bear, new can reveal his ex-girlfriend Cheryl Tweedy is “relieved” by his decision – and is even thankful to his fiancée Maya Henry.

An insider told new that it was model Maya’s positive influence over the former One Direction star that’s helped him realise what’s most important in his life.

“For Cheryl, it’s great news because Liam has had issues with partying in the past and it can get out of hand at times,” our source claimed. “Maya is on the same page as Cheryl. Although she’s young, she’s really supportive and has encouraged Liam to rein it in.

“Cheryl’s grateful to Maya because she’s made Liam more stable and steady. She feels like Maya has been good for Liam.”
