Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde-Massey are one of Love Island’s biggest success stories after being crowned winners in 2016. Not only did Nathan, 28, and Cara, 30, fall head over heels and tie the knot, but four years later they have two adorable mini-mes – son Freddie-George, two, and their new bundle of joy, five-month-old daughter Delilah.
But the couple haven’t let fame go to their heads. In fact, when new catches up with Nathan over Zoom, he’s relaxing in his lounge with Delilah fast asleep on his lap.
“I’m just so besotted by her, I’m not even joking,” the proud dad smiles as he gives us a glimpse of the sleeping beauty. “She’s like a little princess.”
Here, the down-to-earth star tells us about life as a family of four, how he recently transformed his “dad bod” for the sake of his kids and why they’re all counting down the days until Christmas…
Hi Nathan! Delilah is so adorable…
Ah, thanks. I’m daddy daycare today, which I don’t mind at all, as a lot of dads are always working, so they don’t get to spend quality time with their kids.
Does she have you wrapped around her little finger already?
Listen, I’m completely smitten. Obviously, I love Fred and Delilah exactly the same, but it’s a completely different love when you’ve got a daughter. I’m just so besotted by her, I’m not even joking. She’s like a little princess.
We hear Fred’s a right little character now. Who does he take after?
