Brad Pitt is a new man. Following his dramatic September 2016 split from second wife Angelina Jolie, the Ad Astra actor got sober – but it was a lonely time as he worked through his demons. ‘The fact is, we all carry pain, grief and loss,’ he says.

Now, three years after his bitter split, Brad has found peace. And, a source tells, so has Angelina. ‘During the divorce, emotions ran high, and I’d actually go as far as to say that they hated one another,’ says the source. ‘But as time’s gone by, they’ve come to terms with the situation.’

The former couple reached a new custody agreement in late 2018 that gave Brad more time with their kids – a huge concession for Angelina, 44, who’d long sought sole custody while Brad, 55, wanted joint.
