Five years ago, Kourtney Kardashian insisted she wished she wasn’t famous, and just longed for an anonymous life on a farm with her family. ‘I never really thought about fame as a kid,’ she said at the time. ‘Sometimes I wish we weren’t filming. I love being a mum and sometimes I just wish no-one knew who I was.’

Last week, it seems, Kourtney finally realized that dream. After years of threatening to give up on reality TV, Kourtney announced that she was finally stepping away from Keeping Up with the Kardashians after 17 seasons.

‘I just decided to spend more time as a mum and put more of my energy there,’ Kourt says of taking a step back, but I’m not saying goodbye. I think you’ll have to see more of it on the new season.’
