Why do we see being single as such a failing? Why are we still so desperate to find The One? In 2020, why are we not evolving? Why are we still waiting for our prince or princess to come along and rescue us from our lonely, sad lives?

I’ll tell you why, it’s because we don’t like the company we keep. Most of us can’t be alone and single for long, nor can we do it very well. I mean truly alone, where you’re not obsessing about meeting someone. It means not being consumed with our next lover or relationship, just being really alone and loving it. We just don’t know how to love ourselves single and it’s time we start.
