SIMON COWELL PAYS TRIBUTE TO STARS AS GLITZY EVENT RAISES ASTOUNDING FOR CHILDREN’S CHARITY

When someone has been in show business as long as Simon Cowell, it’s hardly a surprise to discover he has a long list of celebrity friends he can call on to help support his charity work. So when Together For Short Lives and its patron Simon threw a glam fundraising ball, stars flocked to the event to salute the work they do to help families make the most of the precious time they have with their seriously ill children.

The annual fundraiser, supported by media partner OK! magazine and sponsor M&S Food, saw a host of famous faces among the guests, including Strictly Come Dancing’s Janette Manrara and Simon’s close friend and BGT judge Alesha Dixon, at London’s VIP venue 8 Northumberland Avenue.

Also present at the ball were EastEnders stars Emma Barton and Gurlaine Kaur Garcha, actress Tamzin Outhwaite, Changing Rooms’ flamboyant lead interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and Percy Pig, who greeted guests as they arrived at his Dreamland Ball.
