ALL ABOARD
Thought cruise ship holidays were for oldies? The latest addition to Royal Caribbean's Oasis-class fleet will change your mind. Our first glimpse of Wonder Of The Seas, which carries up to 6,988 passengers, came as we boarded at Fort Lauderdale, Miami.
The luxurious Wonder Of The Seas
We were immediately in awe of its dimensions - standing taller than 16 double-decker buses and longer than the Eiffel Tower is tall! This means there's heaps to do and we were so pleased that our first day was spent out at sea, letting us explore.
The ship is longer than the Eiffel Tower is tall
Thankfully, Royal Caribbean has an app to navigate the 18 decks and let you book everything from dinner reservations and show seats to off-board excursions. Treat it as a pocket guide, highlighting the daily offerings so you don't miss out.
Enjoy a host of performances
LET US ENTERTAIN YOU!
Entertainment is at the heart of the ship and even if you don't take in a seated show, you'll still enjoy unscheduled live music pop-ups. The top-deck steel band brings Caribbean vibes to poolside sunbathing, South American restaurant Mason Jar features rocking chairs and a country music trio, or you can sing along with the guitarist in the old English pub.
