Kate looked elegant in a Beulah London dress that she first wore back in May, Missoma earrings and a pair of Ralph Lauren heels. But that didn’t stop her and William getting stuck in as they paid a visit to Brick Lane’s famous Beigel Bake and headed to the kitchen to try their hand at kneading the dough.
The pair had begun their day at the London Bridge Jobcentre. Later, they headed to the nearby East London Mosque & London Muslim Centre in Shadwell, where they chatted with volunteers who cooked and delivered meals to the vulnerable members of their community during the pandemic.
But royal expert Katie Nicholl exclusively tells OK! that the couple’s move back to the capital has been bittersweet after they fell even more in love with country life during lockdown.
“I’ve been told by friends that if Kate and William had their way, they would make Anmer their permanent home,” Katie reveals. “They love the countryside, the freedom it gives them and the space and privacy that they just don’t have in London. It’s where they’ve always gone for half-term and weekends away, but during lockdown it really has become home for them.
