DA come up is real

OJ Da Juiceman

It’s such an honor to lead this issue off with a cover feature from OJ da Juiceman. Journalism is a funny thing. In the air of remaining unbiased as much possible, many appear afraid to let on when they really dig an artist, or they like someone’s music more than the next. For us, it would absolutely defeat the purpose of why we do this. OJ da Juiceman is one of the artists that we follow, and have for quite some time. His work ethic has a tremendous amount to do with that, as he’s always working. I haven’t seen an artist work this much in such a long time, and in all honesty, it’s reminiscent of how Pac has hundreds and hundreds of tracks in a vault just waiting to be released. OJ da Juiceman is seemingly working the same way, as he’s release 40+ mixtapes in only a few years. He’s built a solid reputation for himself down in Atlanta, and he continues to expand upon his legacy with each new release. He’s seen both sides of the game from a major and independent standpoint, and frankly, he’s out here grinding. It’s always an honor to feature artists like him, especially on the cover, because it’s something for readers and music fans alike to look at and see what’s possible when you put in the work and invest your mind. With this new issue, we’re proud to present OJ da Juiceman!

U.G. Digital Mag: You’ve done so much for music man, so I really appreciate you for your time. You’ve got one of the best work ethics out there You release so many projects. Where does that all come from?

The Woman Behind Cleveland's New Empire DJ Squirt

What a joy is to connect with Rhonda Saxton. Known for years as DJ Squirt, and her work with The Nerve DJs, she’s taken the world by storm all over again with her latest venture, Urban City Radio Station. It’s no question that many counted her out, given her lengthy hiatus from the limelight. For her own reasons, those which are discussed in our exclusive, Squirt, as she is affectionately called, chose to drop it all and lead a “regular life”, building a career in computer programming. Even she didn’t know it would lead her back to her true love of music. Life has led her down a trail of familiarity in ups and downs, and the average person would have succumbed.
