New South Wales may have celebrated its first day of “freedom” in months on October 11, but Sam Frost wasn’t among the revellers – having gone to ground after sharing her controversial stance on vaccinations just days prior. The Home and Away star, 32, took to Instagram on October 9 to post a tearful video calling for “compassion” and “empathy” for those who have chosen not to have the COVID-19 jab.

“I was really hesitant about doing a video or even speaking up about this sort of thing,” she said in the five-minute clip. “But I feel like it’s getting to a point now in the world where there’s a lot of segregation, a lot of harsh judgment, and it’s taking its toll on my mental health.”
