The Sony Xperia XZs is the company’s latest flagship smartphone in India, and is the first to unveil staggering slow motion videos at 960fps. It uses the new sensor with 19-megapixel effective resolution at 4:3 pillar boxing, along with an f/2.0 G lens and a faster BIONZ X image processor. The slow motion videos produced by the Xperia XZs, however, are erratic. With ample light in natural environments, the Sony Xperia XZs shoots stunning slow motion videos with no interpolation and stutters, and is a significant visual upgrade over the 120fps and 240fps slow mo videos produced by phones so far.
However, the algorithms struggle with shutter speed adjustment under fluorescent light due to flicker rate, and produce too much noise in low light. This limits places where you can use this mode.
