WEBCAMS HAVE BECOME an essential part of day-to-day life for millions of people over the past year or so, but many are now ditching their built-in cams for more premium peripherals. The Facecam is Elgato’s first webcam, so should people turn their attention towards this cam and add it to their setup?
Considering the huge role it plays in streaming peripherals, it's odd that this is Elgato's first go at a physical webcam. Sure, the company released the EpocCam, which turns your phone into a webcam via an app, but it has now opened the door into webcam production. Hopefully, this camera can complete Elgato’s arsenal of streaming gear.
