Rosemary is a part of the mint family; hold the surprise because, along with rosemary, oregano, basil, lavender, and thyme, are apart of the same family. However, rosemary has more of warm, bitter flavor compared to mint being cooler. Often used in Italian dishes, rosemary adds a nice touch to sauces, soups and stews, and makes roasts to die for.

Rosemary is said to have a variety of medicinal purposes. While containing calcium, iron, vitamin B6, and antioxidants, it has been used for relieving muscle pain, boosting immune systems, improving memory, and treating ingestion. It’s also quoted as being beneficial for its anti-aging properties.
