Mehack Chahal made her Bollywood debut with a lead role in the movie Nayee Padosan (2003) in the role of Pooja Iyengar and she was welcomed by open arms by the Bollywood filmmakers. ] She also featured in an item number in the movie Chameli (2004). Chahal’s next performed in a Punjabi movie Dil Apna Punjabi (2006 ) proved her versatility as an actress and she also bagged ] a negative role in Wanted and Main Aurr Mrs Khanna (2009), both starring Salman Khan. ] She did an item number in the movie Yamla Pagla Deewana.[]
Chahal featured in the Norwegian reality television show Fristet (2011). She also starred in Karar: The Deal(2014) which was a very bold role , full of steamy scenes.. She has also acted in films like ANJAAN, CHHODON NA YAAR in an item number, JAI VEERU in an item number Agre Ka Ghagra, MAREGA SAALA, MUMBAI CUTTING, KEDI (Telugu), BIKRAM SINGHA (Bengali), JATT AIRWAYS (Punjabi), MR.AIRAVATA ( Item number, Kannada), , GHETU (Item number, Tamil) and few more films and television shows too. Mehack Chahal launched her clothing line Mehack Chahal Clothing in Norway. [9] She was also a contestant on the reality television show Bigg Boss 5 (2011) and Bigg Boss Halla Bol (2015). Mehack now appears in NIRDOSH which is due for release on 19th January. She spoke to Mohan Ayyer of GLOBAL MOVIE. Excerpts.
You simply vanished for few years. What happened ?
I had injured my right leg very badly and had to be hospitalized. . I could not work for three years. But now I am perfectly a right and waiting for the new release NIRDOSH.
