Patek Philippe’s second boutique with Cortina Watch in the opulent Bukit Bintang area of Kuala Lumpur signifies the importance of Malaysia as a key horological destination for watch lovers from all over the region. A symbol of the strong and long-standing partnership between the brand and Cortina Watch Malaysia, this new must-visit location brings over 180 years of fine Swiss watchmaking tradition and indisputable expertise to Malaysians first-hand.
NEW LANDMARK
Located at the JW Marriott Hotel of Kuala Lumpur, the new Patek Philippe boutique opened its doors in October 2021. The first boutique with Cortina Watch arrived in 2013 and is located in the prestigious Suria KLCC mall. This time around, the boutique occupies an impressive 105.8 square meters prime property and is clearly made to be a sight to behold for visitors to the district. With a façade of over 9.6 metres in height that features Patek Philippe’s emblematic Calatrava cross pattern, this is also the inaugural boutique in South East Asia to carry the Patek Philippe clock on the street front.
DETAILS MATTER
No effort has been spared in the creation and construction of the premise. In line with the brand’s philosophy of excellence and craftmanship, the boutique tastefully employs luxurious materials such as Birdseye Maple, Indian Rosewood and burnished brass. Separating the main area from the private lounge is a pair of finely crafted see-through wood panels with the iconic Calatrava cross. In essence, the interior provides a warm glow of champagne gold and beige furnishings gloriously lit by a bespoke chandelier with Baccarat crystals, offering a comfortable yet embellished environment with which to view and shop.
