The question is: Can we change this world? We are all, in our own way, busy in improving others, improving the conditions of life and in an active way, changing it. We keep trying our best. But I think, if we look at it, in the end, all practically remain the same. Great leaders have come and they have worked hard. But after a hundred or two hundred years, we don’t see any real impact. Great leaders like Gandhiji were there; other leaders in other countries achieved a great deal. Basically, the world has its own nature, its own rules, and it continues. For a little while, great individuals come along and shake the whole world. It looks as if they have brought about a change but after they have left, the conditions are the same.
However, this is a very strong instinct in us. There are some who are involved in their own duties and they don’t think too much about the outside world. There are others who look around, find out mistakes, want to change things, and spend their lifetime doing it. So, we have to find out for ourselves which group we are in.
