Or whatever hour you want to feel inspired at... to do whatever you want to do in your life....
I pondered over this question for a long time. In the beginning, I was like one of those people who stuck to the notion that inspiration has to hit you like a bolt from the blue. No matter what, it definitely cannot be "manifested" by self. If it really does manifest, then it must feel like a chore and not that magical moment of enlightenment it is supposed to be.
So, I would wait for those electric jolts to hit me for any meaningful thing to be done, putting it at the bottom of the task pile, with most of the useless stuff. So, things such as clearing the laundry pile got preference over the task of sitting down to write something, even though writing meant the world to me, and laundry could have waited forever, for all I cared.
The same thing would repeat in things that mattered to me the most like making a call to that good friend of mine, I hadn't connected with in ages; or making an effort to send across that apology email I had been meaning to send.
But I didn't! Instead, I would get busy dusting, cleaning, clearing, talking to people who hardly mattered, browsing social media for things I would forget the instant I logged out, etc.
Why did I do this? Why do we do this? Well for one thing, we expect things to come out of us fully baked, forgetting that "baking" itself involves a lot of steps involving pre-baking, baking and post-baking phases. We pine for those perfect bodies, perfect creativity, perfect lives, without having to go through the "process" of drudgery to reach there, totally missing the essence of Thomas Edison's quote, "Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration."
